Happy Half Term

A Message from Miss Harford and Mrs Claxton:

Well done to each and everyone of you for a brilliant half term learning all about Pirates! You have been superstars and this was shown even more during our class assembly on the last day of term . . . you were AMAZING!!

Have a wonderful and relaxing week off and we look forward to seeing you back all refreshed and raring to go again on Tuesday 23rd February to start our new topic  . . . INDIA!

Dance!

On Tuesday 9th February, we watched  a professional dancer called Ashley from 'West End in Schools' show us all of his dancing skills. We then got to practice some different dances from over the years!

I liked it when he said Rock and Roll because we had to jump on our partners back! It was good fun! - Kuri.

I am part of the celebration of dance team so it was good fun and I also learned some new tips on how to be a better dancer! - Olivi.

I liked it when he did some funny movements because it made me laugh. Instead of walking in little steps, he walked in long steps with a funny face! - Ajay.

STEM Day 3

On Wednesday 3rd February 2016 we we started to think about developing our new outdoor shaded area as part of STEM Day 3. Later on we tested some materials with a torch to see which one would be best to make it by thinking about how much light they let through. We used the words transparent, opaque and translucent when describing how much light they block.
