Love Miss Harford and Mrs Claxton x x

WOW . . . what a performance!

Class 7 what can I say . . . . last night, you were all AMAZING in our Christmas Play!!! It was the BEST performance I have EVER seen! Your singing was beautiful, your dancing was CRAZY but funny and you all found your loud, clear voices from the bottom of your toes!! You all made me so PROUD and I'm sure your grown ups felt the same!

Our Awesome Adventure!

On an exciting Monday morning it was the day that we were going on an adventure. Miss Harford did the register and then told us to go the toilet. Then we walked up the path with a partner and our groups and got on the giant blue coach. The first place we went to was the Islamic Mosque. In the Mosque, Wajeehah showed us how to pray on the prayer mats. Next, we set off to visit the Hindu Temple. When we went upstairs we saw the bell and some beautiful statues made out of marble. After we strolled up to the Sikh Gurdwara. Outside we tried to spot the symbol that represents Sikhism and we found it on the flag, the door and the gates. We ate food in the Langar Hall and the teachers were dinnerladies!!!!! We then hopped back onto the coach and set off on our way back to school. This was the best day ever in Y2!

Our First Term as a Y2!

We have now been in Y2 for 7 weeks. Since we started, we have got better explorers, chefs, mathematicians, writers, readers, sports players, artists, scientists and musicians. Here are some of our favourite things:

Ajay - My favourite thing has been learning all about money and now I know that £1 is 100p.
Wajeehah - I liked it when we were exploring the world and visiting lots of different countries!
Kai - I have enjoyed learning about 2D shapes the most!
Maddie - I loved it when we did some pointillism using paints, felt tips and wax crayons.
Alfie C - I liked it when I held a fish's head in Farm to Fork week.
Olivia - My favourite day was when we went outside with no shoes on and we had to walk along a path of different materials. We then decided which materials we wanted for our Sensory Square!
